Latest Technology

We take great pride in providing our patients with high-quality dental care by using the most advanced technology available today! We believe our precise combination of knowledge, skill and technology enables us to deliver optimum results for each of our patients.

Digital X-rays

Digital X-rays, or radiographs, are also used in our office to provide us with invaluable information about your oral and dental health. By placing a wireless sensor in your mouth and using high-tech computer software, we are able to generate digital images of your mouth significantly faster than traditional X-rays. Not only are they friendly to the environment, they are much safer than traditional X-rays, reducing your radiation exposure by 90 percent!

Diode Laser

We use laser dentistry in our practice for soft tissue procedures. Our diode lasers use narrow beams of light energy to penetrate tissue, producing the ability to vaporize, remove or shape soft tissues, such as the gums, cheeks and tongue. Laser dentistry can be used to correct many problems, from uncovering partially-erupted wisdom teeth, to crown lengthening, to removing lip pulls in orthodontic patients. Lasers can also obtain small tissue samples in biopsy procedures to detect lesions or potential tumors in the mouth.

Using a diode laser as opposed to other forms of surgery does have its advantages. Diode lasers can control the amount of bleeding during the treatment, and we can sometimes remove gum tissue without any bleeding. There may also be less swelling and pain following the treatment as the diode laser can seal blood vessels and nerve endings.
